Jim Sanderson, Chief Operating Officer & Managing Partner

Jim Sanderson joined Farmhouse Equity Research in early 2004 and was named Chief Operating Officer and Managing Partner in 2007.

Prior to joining FEQR, Jim was an independent consultant and writer. He also worked at United Airlines where he served as a financial analyst and manager of international alliance development, leading teams to develop new business opportunities in China, the Middle East and SE Asia. Before returning to the US for his MBA, Jim served as an administrative officer for four years at an international organization headquartered in Paris, France.

Jim has held several leadership positions in his community, and in 2005 was elected Co-President of the Chicago chapter of Amigos de las Americas, an international, community development non-profit which provides opportunities for young people to work in Latin America. Prior to this, Jim served on the board of this chapter, and was elected Treasurer.

Jim holds a BA (honors) and MBA from the University of Chicago, and resides in Barrington, Rhode Island with his wife and daughter. He is an avid violinist, tennis player and runner, having completed his first half-marathon in May of 2004.
